Alex Rasmussen

Alex Nicki Rasmussen is a Danish professional racing cyclist. Rasmussen is a track cycling specialist, and was the 2005 Scratch World Champion. Together with Michael Mrkv, Rasmussen won the Danish Madison Championships six times in a row, and as such, are nicknamed the Par nummer syv . Rasmussen has also found success on the road, winning the 2007 Danish National Road Race Championships. Rasmussen previously competed for UCI ProTeams Team Saxo Bank , HTCHighroad , and GarminBarracuda . OnMarch 2013, GarminSharp resigned Rasmussen for the remainder of the 2013 season. Rasmussen left GarminSharp following the 2013 season, and subsequently announced plans to reenter track cycling. Rasmussen joined Riwal Cycling Team for the 2014 season.
